Dans le cadre de l’exposition collective THE END, la galerie Valeria Cetraro et le laboratoire DERIVA, consacré au commissariat d’exposition et à la promotion d’artistes émergents, proposent le débat/conférence : En partant du point de vue d’une pratique curatoriale qui pense l’acte d’exposition comme un acte de langage, qui consiste dans la narration d’une histoire/récit et dans la création d’une expérience sensible et/ou intellectuelle, ce débat/conférence a pour objet d’interroger le choix, les modalités et les conséquences d’une pratique curatoriale exercée au sein des galeries, par les commissaires d’exposition, les galeristes ou les artistes.
As part of the collective exhibition THE END, the Valeria Cetraro gallery and the DERIVA laboratory, dedicated to curating exhibitions and promoting emerging artists, are offering the debate and conference: Starting from the point of view of a curatorial practice that considers the act of exhibition as an act of language, which consists in the narration of a story-telling and the creation of a sensitive and/or intellectual experience, this debate/conference aims to question the choice, modalities and consequences of a curatorial practice exercised within the galleries, by curators, gallerists or artists.
