Dans le cadre de l’exposition « To keep the darkness sealed within », la Galerie Valeria Cetraro invite Clara Guislain à nous proposer une réflexion prenant appui sur le contexte formel et conceptuel de l’exposition de Andrés Ramirez. En réponse à cette carte blanche, avec la conference/table ronde « Why you never became a dancer », Clara Guislain choisit d’interroger le corps comme motif ou comme opérateur, son assujettissement, son régime de présence et d’absence. Marie de Brugerolle nous propose une intervention sur Larry Bell,  » Larry Bell, lignes d’ombres », qui se concentrera sur le motif de l’absence de la figure humaine dans son oeuvre. Nicolas Ballet, entrera dans la discussion à travers le thème des enjeux esthétiques des musiques industrielles, et plus particulièrement de leurs stratégies de contrôle mental et corporel. Giorgio Fichera, viendra ouvrir un échange notamment en dialogue avec l’artiste sur la pesanteur et l’assujettissement du corps à la matière, dans l’oeuvre de Michel-Ange.

As part of the exhibition « To keep the darkness sealed within », Galerie Valeria Cetraro invites Clara Guislain to propose a reflection based on the formal and conceptual context of Andrés Ramirez’s exhibition. In response to this carte blanche, with the conference/roundtable « Why you never became a dancer », Clara Guislain chose to question the body as a motive or as an operator, its subjection, its regime of presence and absence. Marie de Brugerolle proposes an intervention on Larry Bell, « Larry Bell, lines of shadows », which will focus on the reason for the absence of the human figure in his work. Nicolas Ballet will enter into the discussion through the theme of the aesthetic issues of industrial music, and more particularly their strategies of mental and physical control. Giorgio Fichera will open an exchange, particularly in dialogue with the artist, on the gravity and subjection of the body to matter in Michelangelo’s work.
